Have you ever done anything and felt really bad about it later? While we want to just forget about the whole thing, God wants to use that moment to transform us. Godly sorrow brings us back to God. Shame suffocates hope and makes us believe change is impossible. Lent leads us through godly sorrow so that we can hold on to the hope of the resurrection in the midst of our shortcomings
